Women in the Labor Market, Problems and Solutions

The first working meeting on “Women in the Labor Market, Problems and Solutions” was held within the framework of the National Assembly – Civil Society Platform.
The purpose of the meeting was to map out policy reform proposals, formulate a joint agenda to promote women’s involvement in the labor market, and, if necessary, organize close sectoral working
group meetings to formulate legislative initiatives to address policy issues in the field.
About thirty representatives of the civil society and international organizations, MP’s participated in the
discussion. The vice president of the National Assembly Lena Nazaryan and the deputy Minister of Labor and Social Issues of the Republic of Armenia Jana Andreasyan also attended the meeting.
