The recently published <a href=\"https:\/\/openknowledge.worldbank.org\/bitstream\/handle\/10986\/32639\/9781464815324.pdf?sequence=3&amp;isAllowed=y\">Women, Business and the Law 2020<\/a> report by the World Bank reviews the laws related to business and entrepreneurial activities of women and are directed at the enhancement of economic opportunities for women as well as achieving gender equality.<\/p>\r\n<p>According to the report estimates, 40 economies from all regions and income groups have made women\u2019s economic empowerment a priority by executing 62 reforms facilitating women\u2019s entry into the workforce.<\/p>\r\n<p>The report uses a scale of 1 to 100 to assess the legal framework facilitating women\u2019s economic participation in accordance with 8 indicators characterizing the business life of women. These include mobility, workplace, pay, marriage, parenthood, entrepreneurship, assets, and pension.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Out of 190 countries, Armenia ranks 69, with a total score of 82.5<\/strong>.
